WhatsApp Business Auto Reply: Greeting and Keyword Rules

A customer messages your business at 2am. By morning, they have bought from someone who replied. Slow replies lose sales, and answering the same price question all day wastes your team's time. WhatsApp automation rules answer instantly, every time, and hand over to a person when it matters.

Rule 1: an instant greeting

An Instant Greeting rule replies to the first message from a new contact. In the demo, Sunrise Bakery greets every new customer and invites them to ask about cakes, bread or catering.

Rule 2: keyword replies for menu and prices

A Keyword Trigger rule matches words in the customer's message, such as menu or price, and sends the answer you wrote. This removes the repeated questions that fill an inbox.

How to create a rule

  1. Open WhatsApp, then Automation in your EaziMarketing dashboard.
  2. Click Create Rule and choose a rule type, for example Instant Greeting or Keyword Trigger.
  3. For a keyword rule, enter your keywords separated by commas.
  4. Write the response message.
  5. Leave Enable this rule immediately ticked and click Create Rule.

What the customer sees

The customer writes Hi and receives your greeting at once. When they ask about prices, they receive your price reply. Rules run in priority order, lower numbers first.
